Marching Band
The Marching Band plays in the stands and at halftime at our home Wakefield Football Games. We also participate in competitions on some saturdays.
Home Football Games
2026: August 21, September 18, October 2, October 16, October 23
Band plays the national anthem before the home football games. They also play pep tunes in the stands during Q1, Q2, and Q4 of the game.
Marching Band Competitions

Marching Band Competitions can be an all day event.

The kids are dropped off at Wakefield HS before the competition for a rehearsal and to load equipment in the trucks.

They travel on a school bus from Wakefield to the competition .

The band stays at the competition until awards are announced. It is possible to perform at 10am and not even leave until 9pm from the competition.

After the competition, the bus brings the kids back to Wakefield HS and you pick up your kids there.
